Rajasthan Government Announces Stenographer Recruitment 2018  After 3 Years; 1085 Vacancies Available

RSMSSB has announced the hiring of 1085 stenographers after 3 years. The online application will begin on July 12, 2018. The minimum academic eligibility criteria is 10 + 2, which makes it a very good opportunity for the candidates of the 12th pass. Apart from the prescribed academic eligibility, a candidate must also have knowledge of the script 'Devnagri' and must be aware of the culture and tradition of Rajasthan.
Eligibility criteria

Age limit

The lower age limit is 18 years and the upper age limit is 40 years as of January 1, 2019.

• Note 1: Since a recruitment examination for stenographer was not carried out in the last three years, therefore, all applicants will be granted a 3 year relaxation in the upper age limit.
• Note 2: Candidates are advised to review the detailed advertising of the relaxation in the upper age limit for the different categories.

The candidate must have passed Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board of education.

The candidate must have an 'O' or Higher Level Certificate Course run by the DOEACC under the control of the Electronics Department of the Government of India.

Note: Check detailed advertising for qualifications equivalent to the 'O' level certificate.


Application process

The application will be online and candidates would need to first create the SSO ID and password. The SSO identification and password can be generated by registering at www.sso.rajasthan.gov.in. After the creation of the SSO identifier and password, the candidate could apply for a stenographer position at www.rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
