FSSAI Recruitment 2018: Application Begins For Food Analyst and Junior Food Analyst Posts
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has invited eligible candidates for the fifth food analysts 'examination (FAE) 2018 and the second food analysts' examination (JAE) 2018. The application process is carried out online and will conclude on August 16, 2018. The computer selection exam will take place in September.

Eligibility
For FAE, the candidate must meet the following essential criteria:
The candidate must have a Master's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Milk Chemistry or Food, Nutrition and Food Technology or have a Bachelor's Degree in Dairy / Petroleum Technology or have a degree in Veterinary Science from a university established in India by law or be an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysts conducted by the Chemical Institution (India) or any other equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Government for such purposes.
- Last date to send the application online: August 16, 2018
- Release date of the admission card: September 10, 2018
- Online exam date: September 22, 2018
- Declaration of results for the theoretical examination (only Paper I and Document II): October 5, 2018
- Admit the release date of the card for the practical exam: November 11, 2018
- Date of the practical examination (Document III): third or fourth week of November 2018
- Statement of results for FAE 2018: December 10, 2018
Note: JAE applicants must be submitted only for theory work and practical exams will only be done for FAE candidates.
No prior experience is required for JAE.
For JAE, candidates must not be older than 28 years. For the SC / ST category, the maximum age is 33 years and for the OBC category, the maximum age is 31 years.
Application process
Candidates can complete application forms on the official FSSAI website (http://fssai.thinkadmission.in). The application fee for FAE is Rs. 2000 and for JAE is Rs. 1500. Candidates can find detailed guidelines and other important information on that website.
The candidate must have at least three years of experience in food analysis.
There is no age limit for these publications.
