Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) Launches Official Facebook Page
The Public Service Commission of Kerala (KPSC) will carry out the State Administrative Service Examination through the online mode as of this year. According to a report carried by the Hindu, KPSC President M.K. Sakeer has said that IT labs at technical institutions such as polytechnics, ITI and engineering universities will be used to conduct PSC exams.

In January 2018, the Commission launched its official Facebook page. The page was formally launched by the President of PSC M.K. Sakeer in the presence of other members of the commission and the exam controller.
The Facebook page aims to reach more candidates and keep them updated on the latest updates and hiring that the PSC makes. With 1.14,896 followers, the six-month page also publishes information about jobs and results reported by the Commission.
The President inaugurated the electronic office in Kozhikode, yesterday. In addition to the administrative service review, the Commission also plans to conduct online exams for other PSC tests. "From now on, we have the capacity for only 3,600 people to attend an online exam, and with the IT labs added to the facility, we can serve at least 40,000 candidates at the same time," the paper quoted the president as saying.
Regarding the Kerala administrative service review, he said the detailed notification will be implemented soon.
The Facebook page will have news, photos and videos about various functions of the PSC. The Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Kerala-Public-Service-Commission-129299757758575) already has more than seven thousand "likes" and more than eight thousand followers.
Through the page, candidates would obtain easy and fast information about the exams, the vacancies, the exam calendar, the interview schedule, the admission ticket and the download of the cover letter, and the results and the list of merits.
The page already has publications on five different vacancies. The publications that are announced are listed below and the deadline for requesting these publications is January 17, 2018:
- Medical officer
- Junior Instructor
- Junior Public Heath Nurse Grade II
- Range forest officer
- Assistant / Auditor - Government Secretariat / KPSC / AG / LFAD
The commission held a meeting on Monday that decided to organize a farewell session of the PSC diamond jubilee celebrations at its headquarters on February 26. Governor P. Sathasivam will inaugurate the function.
